Bosch goes big on Internet of Things as manufacturing shrinks

Singapore
GERMAN conglomerate Bosch will kickstart its first building monitoring project here next month, as the engineering and electronics group looks to strengthen its position in the Internet of Things (IoT) sector globally.
The project will be conducted in a "fairly large, well-known" commercial cum retail building. It will make use of Bosch's sensors and data analytic capabilities to help building managers forecast when lifts should undergo maintenance, or when washrooms need cleaning.
