Chong Ee Rong steps down as Raffles Medical Group's deputy managing director
RAFFLES Medical Group's (RMG) deputy managing director Chong Ee Rong has left her role after less than a year.
RMG confirmed to The Business Times in response to media queries that Ms Chong has "left to pursue other interests".
Ms Chong had, in October 2020, been jointly appointed with Kenneth Wu as co-deputy managing directors of commercial and operations respectively.
The appointments were made in part to boost transformation plans, including realigning business workstreams as well as strengthening the group's physician and healthcare management leadership, said RMG in October.
Ms Chong has 25 years of experience in marketing consulting and had spent nearly 20 years at integrated marketing agency Ogilvy & Mather Group.
At RMG, she was responsible for spearheading its commercial operations, driving client partnerships and enhancing the group's brand and marketing.
