DBS consumer banking head appointed to NETS board (Amended)
NETS, Singapore's leading payment solutions provider, said on Friday Jeremy Soo Hsiao Chin, DBS's managing director and head of consumer banking group, Singapore, has been appointed to its board.
Mr Soo's appointment will take immediate effect.
He succeeds Rachel Yap as a DBS representative to the NETS Board.
Mr Soo has 30 years of consumer banking and finance experience. He joined DBS in 2003 and oversees the DBS, POSB, Wealth Management networks and distribution, ATM/digital/mobile channels, as well as all key consumer-related products and services in Singapore.
Amendment note: In an earlier version of this story, NETS had incorrectly said Mr Soo has 20 years of consumer banking and finance experience. NETS has since corrected this and said that Mr Soo has 30 years of such experience. The article above has been revised to reflect this.
