All eyes on Kiev
The final of European club football's elite competition pits two historic clubs who have lifted the cup 17 times between them
THE narrative that often accompanies cup finals is that of hunger and desire with Sunday morning's (May 27, 2.45am) UEFA Champions League (UCL) final in Kiev between Real Madrid and Liverpool being no different.
To most football fans, the favourites, "Los Blancos", finalists in four of the last five finals have a clear advantage: experience.
During his media day interview in the lead-up to the final, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said: "They (Real Madrid) are more experienced, that is a fact. If there is a market for experience they should sell it because then they would be even richer."
