Buy a ticket to sing in the choir
MOST classical concerts just require their audiences to sit and listen to music. But attendees of Sing Messiah! by the Braddell Heights Symphony Orchestra (BHSO) have the unique option to play a much larger role.
At their concert at the Esplanade Concert Hall on Dec 22, the BHSO will take on Messiah, an oratorio (or large musical composition for vocals and an orchestra) created by composer G F Handel in 1741.
And what's special about it is that the audiences can choose to take part, and join in the choir to sing certain choruses. The choice will be presented during the purchase of tickets, where you can choose either to join the "audience" or the "singers".
