All Things Peranakan
Celebrate Peranakan culture through exhibitions, workshops, and of course, food at the first-ever Peranakan Festival, taking place now at Claymore Connect. There are Peranakan performances to catch, nasi ulam cooking classes to attend, and arts and crafts workshops for those who want to try their hand at silk-screen printing. Don't go home empty-handed: remember to pick up some Peranakan kueh chang or traditional cookies, antique furniture or sarong kebayas before you leave. The Peranakan Festival is on over the next four weekends (May 27-28, June 3-4, June 10-11, June 17) from 11am to 6pm.
