Continuing the special relationship
A VALUED supporter of The Business Times Corporate Golf League, Audemars Piguet has been a Hole-in-One sponsor since the league's inception in 2010. Explains Antonio Seward, South-east Asia general manager, Audemars Piguet (Singapore) Pte Ltd: "We have always been pleased to keep this special relationship continuing. Audemars Piguet has been focusing on our two key strategic platforms - contemporary arts, and golf. Naturally, The Business Times Golf League is the main league we sponsor each year to show our support in the golf arena."
He adds: "With six tournaments organised as part of the league, we are confident that this is one of the most prestigious platforms for exposure with its notable pool of golfers from top corporations."
This year, Audemars Piguet's Millenary 4101 - retail price S$56,000 - has been the watch on offer in each of the six legs. The Millenary collection was first launched in 1995, and features a unique oval-shape, providing extra space to reveal the interior of the movement and also bringing a new sense of unique balance between creative freedom and its rigorous technical standards. Steve Lai from Team Crane Boomers claimed a Millenary 4101 when he aced the eighth hole of Raffles Country Club's Lake Course during the league's second leg last month.
