Nun on the run
The stage musical Sister Act is coming to Singapore for the first time. The hilarious story centres on a lounge singer who witnesses a murder and must now disguise herself as a church nun to avoid being killed herself. Her vivacious personality and musical gifts, however, inspire the church choir to great heights and soon attracts the attention of the media and the world - as well as the killers looking for her.
With original music by the famous Alan Menken, this joyful Tony-nominated Broadway hit runs from May 9 at the MasterCard Theatres at Marina Bay Sands. Tickets from S$65 available via www.MarinaBaySands.com/ticketing or Sistic.
COMPILED BY DYLAN TAN, TAY SUAN CHIANG, HELMI YUSOF, RACHEL LOI
