Street Meets Star Wars
Best not to sleep on the latest UT (Uniqlo T-shirt) drop if you're a fan of Japanese streetwear fashion and Star Wars. UNDERCOVER'S Jun Takahashi, A Bathing Ape's NIGO (who is also UT's Creative Director), and WTAPS' Tetsu Nishiyama have come together to interpret characters from the well-loved George Lucas sci-fi franchise in a collection that's set to fly off the shelves.
Standouts include Takahashi's depiction of the cute Ewoks in their habitat, NIGO's take on that iconic Yoda piggyback scene from 1985's Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, and Nishiyama's tribute to the overlooked Dewback.
Most of the shirts are available in both adults and kids' sizes but certain designs like Nishiyama's psychedelic riff on Boba Fett are exclusive to the online shop and Orchard Central flagship store.
