Taiwanese heartthrob faces naked truth

ETHAN Ruan might be used to setting his female fans' hearts aflutter with his boyish good looks, but the clean-cut Taiwanese heartthrob got a taste of his own medicine while shooting his latest film, Paradise in Service, which opened in cinemas on Thursday.

When his mainland Chinese co-star Wan Qian touched him during a steamy bedroom scene, Ruan admitted it caused a particular region of his body to react naturally.

"We've been filming for months and have not seen our girlfriends so when I came in close contact with another beautiful woman, my physical urge naturally took over the show!" confesses the boyish-looking 31-year-old sheepishly in a roomful of mostly-female journalists during a promotional visit to Singapore early last week.
