Teenage-romance drama with nice, supportive cast
How much you'll like If I Stay depends on the 12-year-old girl inside you, if there's one, says DYLAN TAN
YOU can't exactly say the fault is in her stars as the kick-ass (pun intended) Chloe Grace Moretz does her best but still fails to breathe any life into the flat-lining tween weepie, If I Stay.
Besides, wasn't it only a couple of months ago that movie audiences had got another (far superior) print-to-screen adaptation about dying teenagers falling in love?
But Hollywood sure knows a good thing when it sees one, and If I Stay, like The Fault In Our Stars before it, would have a built-in fanbase anyway thanks to both being best-selling Young Adult novels.
