"IF I can make it there, I'll make it anywhere ..." - "there" meaning New York - instruct the lyric of the theme song from the 1977 film, New York, New York, a song which later became a monster hit for Frank Sinatra.

The song concludes with the line "Come on, come through, New York, New York", which should be recalled as the closing line of each of the campaigns of the leading Republican and Democratic presidential candidates in the New York primary races that end on Tuesday.
