Joe Biden's main problem: himself
A recent accusation of sexual assault aside - which he has denied - the 77-year-old Candidate Biden has a tendency to put his foot in his mouth and is, some critics say, too old
AS WE consider the latest developments around the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, a quick recall of an episode in the not too distant past may be in order. In fact, we are rewinding to September 2018, two months after President Donald Trump nominated Judge Brett Kavanaugh for Associate Justice of the Supreme Court.
On the eve of a hearing in the Senate Judiciary Committee, it was reported that Christine Blasey Ford, an academic residing in California, accused Judge Kavanaugh of sexual assault while they were both in high school in 1982.
Another reminder: This happened against the backdrop of the #MeToo movement that was bringing to light numerous sexual transgressions against women, in particular by powerful men in politics and business.
