Straits Clan continues with its kitchen takeover series to celebrate Asian cuisine with Bombay Canteen - a restaurant which has been hailed for its work in championing the food movement in India and its modern take on long-forgotten old Indian recipes. Helming the kitchen is chef-partner Thomas Zacharias who will be in Singapore for the three-day guest stint at Straits Clan. Named 'Best Modern Indian Cuisine 2019' by the BBC Good Food Awards and No.2 in 'India's 50 Best Restaurants 2019' by Condé Nast Traveller, Bombay Canteen focuses on local and seasonal ingredients and aims to showcase the diversity of India's regional cuisines in a five-course tasting menu. Besides Bombay Canteen, Straits Clan has also provided a platform for local and international chefs including Pia Leon, Margarita Fores, Thitid 'Ton' Tassanakajohn, Ethel Hoon and Magic Square's original chefs.

Bombay Canteen will be at Straits Clan from Feb 6 to 8.
