The boys are back
Singapore's favourite comic playwright Michael Chiang returns with a follow-up to his most famous play Army Daze. In this sequel set 30 years after the boys' passing-out parade, Malcolm Png is now a Singapore Armed Forces regular, working as Director of Public Affairs. Meanwhile, among his best friends in National Service, Teo Ah Beng is an entrepreneur, Johari Salleh an ayam penyet restaurant owner, Kenny Pereira a top interior decorator and Krishnamoorthi a respected architect. Malcolm's own son Justin has just been conscripted, forming his own NS gang and memories. With a strong cast headed by Hossan Leong, Ebi Shankara, Joshua Lim and Chua Enlai, Army Daze 2 is set to be another huge crowd pleaser.
Army Daze 2 runs from Aug 4 to 20 at Drama Centre Theatre. Tickets from Sistic.
