The #BuySingLit movement to celebrate Singapore stories is back. Stretched over two upcoming weekends (Mar 8 to 10, 15 - 17), the book and literary festival features over 80 programmes across the island.
These include book-themed visits to the zoo; a Malay Book Fair at the newly-launched Wisma Geylang Serai; tea with writers; puppet shows; and terrarium workshops with simultaneous poetry readings, and more.
There are two main events - the Textures festival and books bazaar at The Arts House, and the #BuySingLit Yong Siak Street Party organised by BooksActually in front of its popular bookshop. Anyone who thinks book geeks can't throw a good party will now be proven wrong.
