True Talent
That disability doesn't mean no ability couldn't be truer in today's launch of True Colours Festival - a three day mega-event that brings together the largest gathering of artistes with disabilities. Performers from as far off as Canada, the UK, US and Chile will be in town as part of an international line-up of acts. Check out brand new works by contemporary inclusive dance troupe, DAZZLE from Japan; wheelchair dancer Rodney Bell from New Zealand; a collaborative theatre production by Singapore's Very Special Theatrics and Australia's No Strings Attached Theatre of Disability.
Japanese contemporary dancers Kazuyo Morita & Natsumi Sadayuki will also perform a special festival commission on the outdoor Festival Village stage while No Strings Attached debuts its new work, I Forgot to Remember to Forget.
True Colours Festival runs from March 22 to 25 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. For more details go to www.truecolours.sg
