Save The Kitties
The Year of the Dog is coming soon, but that doesn't mean we should neglect furry felines.
The Cat Museum, a sanctuary for rescued strays, may shut down for good after June 10. The museum's landlord had refused to renew the lease because of an enforcement notice sent from the Urban Redevelopment Authority and the Ministry of National Development last September, preventing visitors from meeting and adopting the cats.
Founder Jessica Seet hopes to raise S$1 million for a down payment to buy a permanent space and make a comeback before the end of the year.
