The Producers
French bistro Atout goes local - literally - as its tribute to Singapore's 53rd National Day. For the whole month, chef-owner Patrick Heuberger has created a menu using produce from local producers. He's using free-range eggs from Freedom Range; frog legs from Jurong Frog Farm; hormone-free chicken from Toh Thye San Farm; coconut milk from the cult nasi lemak eatery The Coconut Club and wine by local winemaker Inflorescence. Expect dishes such as poached egg with mushroom emulsion, sauteed frog legs and coconut ice cream with chocolate cake in the daily four-course set lunch at S$53 ++ and dinner at S$68 ++. There's also a wine masterclass on Aug 11 at 3pm to 5pm, and a Sunday market on Aug 12 where the local producers will be on hand to show off their homegrown wares.
Atout is at 40C Harding Road. For reservations, call 6679-1800
