MY guest from Indonesia took a mouthful of the wine, held it in his mouth for a while, then swallowed it. He looked at me.

"Bordeaux?" No, it was not. It was Cepparello 1998, Isole e Olena, one of the very first wines made of 100 per cent Sangiovese, and belonging to the Tuscan wines collectively grouped under the nickname of "SUPER-TUSCANS".
