Glamping It Up
Get set for an adventure through India's remote wildlife and cultural destinations as part of a mobile camping group led by an English-speaking guide. Organised by luxury experiential travel operator andBeyond, the trip kicks off in Delhi for a taste of architectural heritage before heading off to Central India where rugged terrain and wildlife await.
Stay in a luxury campsite at Kalinjar Fort to see its impressive ruins and also to prepare for your next stop at Sarai at Toria, in the Panna National Park.
This is where you set out on a jungle drive in search of the Bengal tiger, elusive sloth bear and other wildlife. You'll also pass through gorges, plateaus and forests, as well as the Ken River, literally going to where the deer and antelope roam, along with leopards and foxes. Other highlights include a mobile tent stay near the Kuno River with its resident crocodiles, and a tour of the ancient town of Shivpuri. The 11-day adventure starts on Nov 29 for just four to eight guests and is priced at US$7,999 per person on a twin-share basis.
