One of the most popular presidential couples in history is here in Singapore. Barack and Michelle Obama, the former US president and first lady, are set to speak on their leadership experiences in separate public events. Mr Obama will share his thoughts on his presidency as well as world issues, while Mrs Obama will talk about the private and public moments that have shaped her life as well as her bestselling memoir, Becoming. Since leaving the White House, the Obamas have stayed busy. In August, they made their Hollywood movie debut by producing the documentary American Factory, about the cultural clash between American and Chinese bluecollar workers. The documentary won rave reviews and is touted to be a shoo-in for the upcoming awards season.
